How to Become a Millionaire on Your Own Terms – with Jaime Tardy

Jaime Tardy is the founder of Eventual Millionaire. An Eventual Millionaire is a person who knows they will be a millionaire, eventually. But they are dedicated to becoming a millionaire on their own terms. They want an enjoyable business and an enjoyable life. Listen in as she discusses her journey and shares some amazing tips and advice.

 About Jaime

By the age of 22 Jaime was making six figures, and had an expense account. By the age of 24 she was in over $70,000 in debt. She hated her work. When she was home Jaime dreaded Sunday nights because they marked the beginning of yet another long work week.  She determined that living an enjoyable life was worth far more than a million dollars. So Jaime updated her goal. Instead of just a million dollars, she wanted to find work she loved and the life she loved, and THEN make her million. In 2006 Jaime decided to crush her debt and quit her job.  Now she helps entrepreneurs focus their money and their strengths to create an amazing life while they build their net worth.

Great and applicable information from professionals in the franchise world that are doing it every day. I’ve listened to 3 episodes: Gutter Brothers, Woofies, and Cycle Bar. Enjoyed all and looking forward to hearing more.

Started listening to Josh's podcast after the wife and I decided to buy a franchise and I quickly went through about 200 episodes on 1.5x & 2x, before signing on to purchase a franchise. Josh's info was an invaluable part of our decision to buy, and after listening to so many episodes, I felt like I knew and trusted him on a personal level, so it was a no-brainer to enlist his services when it came time to review the franchise agreement. Josh was super easy to talk to and very empathetic to our needs, and being first time business owners, we needed all the empathy we could get. Josh helped us negotiate a great deal with the franchisor and we were very happy with his services. Great podcast, great guy, great service to anyone involved in the franchise world!

  • I relate SO much to some of the feelings you had when transitioning from the “successful woman” to starting from scratch, Jaime. My husband supported me, but it took an external “force” to even get me to consider leaving. And the first few weeks of trying to wind down out of the pace and intensity of my job? It was epic! I think my family wanted to sedate me. Haha! Best decision, ever, though. Thank you for sharing your vulnerability with us; and Josh, thanks for another super guest, authentic, conversational interview, and for continuing to inspire us on our journeys!

  • Thank you, Amber for tuning in and commenting. You are a force of nature and doing some really great things!
